A Bedtime Story

A bedtime story was a short film I worked on. The story revolves around a woman- Aditi who meets her friend Rohan after ages. After a few drinks and uncomfortable statements from his side, Rohan says he can’t travel back home because he needs to go to his office the next day. He begs Aditi to allow him to stay over because her house is minutes away from his office. 

After contemplating for a while Aditi says yes but on the journey, back home with him, she begins to regret her decision. Things begin to escalate in the house when the lights go off.

The movie is a suspense-thriller, based on a true story.  Thriller as a genre is very difficult to pull off because you always need to give the audience something that they didn’t expect. The right angles while shooting, the background music, proper cuts on the editing table, was all done to make sure that our film came out just the way we wanted it to.

The film was shot on Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and edited on Final Cut Pro
